Customer Completes Checkout
PrePress Dept.

Mockups are made by one of the graphic designers within this department. Each line item ordered needs a mockup fitting the material type and applicable customer requests.
Mockups are sent to customers and proceed to the next stage of production based on their approval or change request.
The customer has rejected the current mockup and would like to make changes to one or more of their mockups.
All mockups have been approved, and each needs to be set-up to print by PrePress Manager.

A physical bin is now introduced into the workflow to contain the physical line items as they are printed. Orders at this stage are filtered by date, priority, and material types.

Shipping Dept.
The physical order is ready for its final Quality Control (3). If the order is complete and passes, it is packaged and shipped or set for local pickup.
This check is done in the Shipping Department as a final, redundancy check for quality, correct quantities, and ensure all line items for the order is complete
Customer Experience

Customer Service Dept.
The order needs mockups for customer approval, and the order is forwarded to the PrePress Dept.
The order is a reorder and can skip the mockup stages.
The order is put on hold if it is requires uploaded artwork files that are missing, damaged, or the customer has a special request that is outside the scope of the custom products ordered.
The order is canceled and refunded.
